If you think that you are seeing red, you’re right! A quick walk through the mall will show you that red is the ‘it’ color for fall. Bright reds are a good way  to keep us upbeat despite the grey and cold that’s about to settle in… Say it ain’t so!!!! Well, instead of running for your box of tissues, check out how we rock our reds.

Leslie’s Look

Dress: Zara // Coat: Vintage Mom – thanks mommy (similar here) // Belt: Zara (sold out, similar here) // Shoes: Zara (old, similar here or here) // Purse: I got in Spain 3 years ago (similar here) //

For my plus size perfect ladies: Dress // Coat // Red Belt //  Wide Calf Over the Knee Boots

I absolutely LOVE the way red looks on people, but for some reason, not a  lot of it makes it’s way home from the store with me!lol I don’t know what it is exactly, but slowly and surely, I am starting to change that by incorporating more and more red pieces into my wardrobe.

For this look, I wanted to focus on how red can add that extra pop to an outfit, so I elected to rock my red in my accessories, and what a difference a beautiful red can make!   I love how the red accents compliment the look and take it up a notch. I cannot take all the credit for combining the red belt with this fabulous Victorian collared printed dress though. This is how I saw it styled on the Zara web site, and at first I thought the dress and belt came together.  This just goes to show that sometimes you can take pieces right off the page and not even have to remix them much at all if you don’t want to! Whoot-whoot!

But of course I had to add a little extra Leslie personality to the look, so I paired my dress with this fur collared leather coat and my grey over-the-knee boots and I’m ready to dive head first into fall!

Gail’s  Look

I believe in the power of red and all of it’s saturated “uplifting-ness”!  I adore this colour and if you didn’t know then see here, here, here oh and here and now you know! LOL

As fall barrels towards us red is one of those colours that I gravitate towards as evident in this outfit here.

Blouse: Addition Elle // Skirt: ASOS Curve (sold out) similar here or as a dress // Shoes: Nine West (old) similar here and here // Earrings: Off Saks Fifth Avenue similar here

Tall glamazons: Top or Top // Skirt or  Skirt

When I first laid eyes on this ASOS Curve skirt, I not only loved the colour but the edgy shininess of it too.  In terms of length it hit me right at my knee and has the slightest bit of stretch for comfort.  I must mention that although the skirt has some give you really need to consult the size chart to make sure you get the right size.  Normally, when I purchase items from ASOS Curve I can size down but I’m glad I didn’t in this case.  I need all the room in this size U.S. 20 skirt.

I paired the skirt with this gauzy tie neck blouse from Addition Elle just to drop in a print.  To complete my look I added leopard print heels because for us Fab Four ladies, leopard is a neutral.  And just like that I’m ready to paint the town….RED!

Nancy’s Look

Pants: Zara // Tee: H&M // Jacket: Aritzia // Shoes: Sam Edelman (old); similar here

Plus size beauties, you can recreate my look with these pants, or pants, tee, and jacket.

I will borrow words from my three year old daughter to say: I have a baby in my belly! 🙂 After the excitement of growing our family, every expecting tall girl will think, what am I going to wear???? While maternity clothing has made great strides in providing some fashionable offering, I dislike the fact that you cannot wear the clothes post pregnancy. And, let’s be honest, those options are rarely for long legged ladies.  That is why I try, as much as possible, to stretch “regular” clothes to fit my ever changing body.

Dressing a pregnant body isn’t always easy, but dressing a tall pregnant body, well that’s even more fun! I found these pants at none other than Zara. They were already quite long but as I wanted to wear them with heels, I took down the hem to gain a couple of inches.

Pregnancy hack 1: you don’t have to zip your pants up all the way! LOL As crazy as this sounds, this is what I have been doing and it works for me! The zipper is to the side and so I zipped it up as high as it could. You can choose to wear a band to hold your pants up, or you can be like me, live on the wild side, and trust that it will hold LOL. This, of course, means that you have to wear a top, blazer or jacket that is long enough to cover the top of your pants.

I complimented my pants with a simple tee letting the world know that women are taking over – you better recognize LOL. I finished the look with a camel coat and some leopard print pumps. Now watch me, bump and all, sashay my way out of here!

Judy’s Look

Judy’s Dress: ASOS // other option here // for Tall babe find similar : here // Sandals : Ivanka Trump

Rose is a color of love and passion and Judy is here for it.  I love wearing red as it suits my complexion very well and gives me that little je ne sais quoi Lol. Red is also a big color for the fall season and can never go wrong wearing it.  I found this gorgeous off the shoulder, Jessica rabbit, red bodycon dress from my favorite store ASOS.

I always gravitate toward bright colors, so this red dress fits right in this lane, and I feel comfortable in the stretch scuba material as it hugs me in the right places.

I could wear this dress for a wedding or a fun function.  I love to complete my look by pairing this dress in my strappy nudist black sandals.

Now watch me rip the runway.

Tah tah for now!
