Reitmans is a well-established Canadian clothing brand that has been around for many years. With the passage of time, they have evolved into a brand providing more contemporary clothing for the modern woman. Added to this magical elixir is the fact that they carry clothing in extended sizes from size 0 – 22, as well as petite and tall – all on their website (www.reitmans.com) with even more to choose from! Talk about a winning trifecta, so you know the ladies of Fab Four Fashion just had to check it out, and you just won’t believe what they found…
Reitmans has lately become one of my go to places to get fun work wear pieces at an affordable price AND in my size! What’s great about their clothing pieces are the versatility they offer which means the possibilities are endless.
In the past I’ve purchased suiting, shirts, skirts, jeans and work appropriate dresses and more fun and flirty casual ones too.
For this look I wanted an all business, boardroom boss, executive chic look. I scooped up this fitted cap sleeve dress that fit the bill perfectly. I love the fabric of it because its has some stretch to it and doesn’t wrinkle so this dress is ideal for business trips because who has time to iron?
I paired this all business dress with this olive green, water repellent trench coat – perfect for those impending April showers that will bring May flowers.
The cut of the trench is perfect and elevates my whole look making all look more expensive than it actually is. So, with that, I’m ready to wheel and deal.
This look gives me that Clark Kent/Superman vibe, and I’m all about being geek chic by day and super fashionista by night!
Reitmans is responsible for putting the chic in my geek with this fab work look. They are fantastic at creating a collection of pieces that can pair very well together, especially for work., right down to the stylish accessories.
One trend I love to carry right through from work to play is print mixing, and that was made easy with these great polka dot pants, check shirt and marl blue sweater mixing both print and textures. But my slim sisters, get ready to rejoice, the pièce de résistance was the fact that they actually make their clothes small enough to fit me without a lick of tailoring!!! When the tag reads “XS” it is really an XS. I tried to wiggle into a pair of pants that were a size 0 and I was like “what you talkin’ bout Willis” I could not fit….like not even a little bit!LOL That is truly a rare occurrence for me. Well done Reitmans!
And with that, I’m off to play at work, and work at play!;-)
I was actually super excited when I found out that Reitmans carries extended sizes for plus size, tall and petite women, but also so intrigued to learn that Fab Four Fashion was on their radar!. I had not been very familiar with Reitmans, so I just did not know what to expect when it came to their plus size collection. Well, while browsing through their web site I found this nice paper bag waist pant – which I adore. I love this style of pant because I can pair them with just about any top, and I can adjust the belt to the way I like it. The sizing for the pants is pretty generous as well which I was delighted to discover.
For this look, I was going for a relaxed safari chic feeling, so I paired the pants with a simple plain white shirt, which I purposely took in a bigger size, so that I could wear the shirt off the shoulder. I also love the fact that the shirt has a bit of stretch in it, which ensures a comfortable fit.
And now I’m ready to roar in style!
When ever I hear a brand providing tall offerings, my ears perk up and my heart starts beating a little faster. All long legged babes out there will agree that we can NEVER have too many options.
Since floral and sheer are trends for this spring – and because I love the print! – I decided to try the 3/4 sleeve printed blouse. While it is sheer, it is not one that offers over exposure. It’s a perfectly light blouse that will work well when the spring sunrays decide to show up. Since it had adorable ruffled cuffs, I wore my blouse with the sleeves down. The blouse does however come with a button and tab to adjust the sleeve length to your preference. Be ready to see me wear this again, perhaps with a sexy leather pencil skirt.
While the Tall options are mainly centered around bottoms – pants and jeans to be exact – there are lots of options that will have you covered for work and play. I decided to try the Tall Release Hem Sculpting Ankle Jeans. Given the proportion on my 5’11” frame, I could have used a few more I inches for a true ankle length – I do have a 36″ inseam. With that said, the full length jeans and pants will probably achieve the perfect on trend ankle length that I adore. These jeans have the perfect amount of stretch to make these jeans uber comfortable allowing you to run all day or play all night!
