Worried about finding that perfect short to keep you cool this summer. Fear not sweetheart, the ladies of Fab Four Fashion have a delightful selection of shorts options that will leave you cool, comfortable and ready for a summer heat wave!

Judy’s Look

Shorts, rompers, you name it, I got it and love it. I never shy away from wearing a cute romper or shorts, especially in the summertime when I can show-off my legs.
This summer season the off-the-shoulder trend is big, therefore I was super excited when I found this romper in a light denim wash at Fashion Nova.

Light and playful, this romper can easily be paired with flats sandals or high heels. I chose to wear it with my nude high heels sandals, a colorful clutch, and of course, for those hot summer days, I needed my trusty fan to give me a cool breeze while I strut my stuff all over the 6ix.

This romper runs from XS to 3X and it runs true to size, so before ordering please read the size charts and measurements closely.

Leslie’s Look

Growing up, I used to love that Nair commercial where they have all the ladies in short-shorts kicking their legs and singing “We wear short shorts…”. Why you may ask, because 1. I wanted my legs to look like that, but they were still gangly (lol) AND 2. I wanted to wear short-shorts but ma mama always got me bermuda’s instead!lol

Now I’m grown, and yes, I’m rocking my short shorts mama!!  I think the Cityline clip said it all. I  scored these palm printed shorts a couple years ago on sale from Zara. They were maybe $9.90 or $19.90, I cannot remember which one, but either way, they were CHEAP and I was ECSTATIC!lol  Two or three long years later, they are still on trend in terms of style and the palm print is all the rage! Whoot-whoot!

Now this gorgeous top from Ziza Boutique is a show stopper. Denim never goes out of style and ruffles are a huge trend which we saw all over the runways and in the magazines for Spring/Summer 2017, and yeah, you can say, I dove in head first with this one baby!

The combination of the palm print and the ruffle makes a statement that speaks volumes!  As for accessories, I even extended the palm print to my gold earrings, and just had to rock this gorgeous African print makeup bag come clutch by Papaya & Co (because I need things to do double duty, I’m on a budget babyJ).

I’m not always one for trying to jump on the band waggon of every trend, but this one is fab because it works for all bodies and can definitely be taken from one summer season to the next, to the next, to the next! I should know, because I sure did!

I’m keeping my shorts look classy and sassy with this printed co-ord set from ASOS Curve.  I’m loving the cropped, moto style jacket and these mid length shorts that are great fitting!

The fabric is a really cool floral jacquard print that has a hint of shine to it when the light catches it just so.  This look would be great for a summer evening dinner.

What I also love about this outfit is that I can swap out the shorts for a pencil skirt and I would then have a great office chic summer look!   I love when my clothing choices offer me loads of versatility!

Nancy’s Look

Disclaimer: I have long legs and I LOVE to show them off! Now that we got rid of the obvious, I know that it’s not necessarily the same for everyone. That’s where pairing the short shorts with a longer kimono can help the doubtful ease their way into “baring it all”.

The added bonus to the kimono is that it will hide your “bumper” if this is something that you prefer (guess I should add a second disclaimer that I have no issues with displaying the assets that my mama gave me! lol) I used this kimono as a pop of life to this all white outfit.

This is one that I would wear to a day party or on a date night with my boo.

My plus size sisters can recreate my look with these shorts, this cami and this fab kimono.

Tah tah for now,

The Fab Four xoxo
