It’s sweater season and I’m ready to get my knit-on! While I’m no lover of the cold, I do like to cozy up in a big chunky knit this time of year and this cropped knit, cashmere sweater allows me to do it in style!

I scored this sweater on a crazy sale at Zara at the end of last winter. I love the folded over sleeves and the black trim detailing, and it’s oh so comfy and cozy.

As for these pants, I scooped them up last winter too (clearly, last winter was good to me), and believe it or not, I’ve gotten so much wear out of them. They dress up any look with that shiny vinyl finish, and the style is fantastic: high waisted paper bag detail that is everywhere this season and yet is not one of those trends you will have to toss away next season.

This look really needed nothing added to it, but I decided to rock it with gold earrings and a cuff bracelet for a little extra je ne sais quoi!

So get cozied up in that comfy knit ladies and embrace winter in style!

It’s sweater season and time for all those nice warm colorful thick sweaters that keep us warm and cozy all season. I love a great sweater and I love them even more when I can pair them with different outfits.   I usually buy a couple new sweaters each year just to mix things up and keep my winter wardrobe fresh and exciting.

This year I’m all over the beaded appliqués sweaters like the one that I’m wearing here. I found it while browsing through H&M. I’m all for the beaded flowers and the puffy sleeves, and I just adore the cropped style.

This knit goes well with a nice pair of leather pants, jeans or a flirty skirt like the one I’m rocking. I really like how the skirt brings out the color of the beads in the sweater.

I kept it simple with my flat iron hair LOL (yes I decided to switch it up on y’all) and my black pumps. This is a great holidays look for brunch or a gathering with your friends.

The only thing missing is my pumpkin spice latté or mimosa depending on my mood.  Cheers!

Knits are cozy, knits are cute, knits are also a great way to stretch your regular clothes to fit your changing body! From oversize to bodycon, knitwear is a great way to dress the bump. The great thing about this particular sweater is the tie detail on the back. It allows you to have a more open neck line for an off the shoulder look like I did here or tie it tighter to get a regular crew neck that you can layer over a shirt.

I paired my sweater with a pleated skirt. This was also an easy fit as the skirt has an elastic waistband for max comfort. Both skirt and sweater are easy to pair with many other pieces from your closet making them great purchases.

I rounded out my look with statement earrings and these fab (and comfortable!!) leopard print shoes. The DRAMA that I went through to get them shoes is unreal (UPS lost my shipment… how? Who knows! The ended up finding them after close to two (2) months!!!) but they were worth the wait.

So, winter is here….for real and one great way to keep the cool winds at bay is by donning some iteration of a knit.  For me, I decided to keep it warm yet sassy with this body hugging knit dress from JustFab.

Y’all, I need to admit that I thought JustFab was just about shoes and handbags really, but oh no no my pet, its got clothes….in PLUS SIZES!

This red printed dress is to die for.  I love the v-neck neckline and the asymetrical hem.  The dress is super duper comfortable as well.  I’m a size 22/24 so I chose a 3X and was good to go.  Sadly, if you are a larger plus size woman the fit will likely be a little snug. I’ll link some other red knit dress options for my extended plus size sisters below.

So, this knit story is also about a red jacket….a Premme red jacket!   This jacket is just plain NEXT LEVEL!  First of all, this glossy red colour is THE perfect shade of red and its cropped!!!  As a woman who is shortwaisted finding cool cropped moto style jackets in a plus size is literally trying to find the perverbial needle in a haystack….so finding this gem of a jacket is like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. LOL

The fit is a dream and I got it in a size 2X which was perfect for me as I don’t really have a large bosom.  If you are a little more well endowed in that area then I would suggest sizing up.

I completed my look by adding some leopard print heels, a belt just cinch in my waist ever so slightly and saucy smile!

Tah tah for now,

The Fab Four
