Toronto Fashion Week Recap

This past week has been an exciting whirlwind of activity for the ladies of Fab Four Fashion. World MasterCard Fashion Week hit Toronto and we were out and about like all the other fashion devotees trying to be among the first to get a glimpse of what will be hot for Fall 2015. Cameras in hand and heels at the ready, we took to David Pecaut Square to capture the catwalk creations, street style sensations, and spy-with-our-little-eyes local legends and international icons!

Day 1 did not disappoint!  Under the big top, we found ourselves falling in love with designs by Mikhael Kale and Pink Tartan and spotting famous faces like Toronto’s own Stacey Mackenzie and Greg Bryk, one of the stars from the film The Book of Negroes.

Day 2 packed a punch: we got elegant simplicity from Helder Diego, perfect cocktail dresses from Narces, beautiful pops of color (and an appearance by the gorgeous Stacey McKenzie) from Vawk, Melissa Nepton and David Dixon who celebrated 20 years by showcasing strong femininity in his runway show!

The highlights of Day 3 included fab denim options from Triarchy, clean modern lines from Malorie Urbanovitch, cool rugged pieces from Klaxon Howl, beautiful outwear from established design house Mackage, and vibrant colours from Hayley Elsaesser.

Fashion Week Day 4 proved itself to be as exciting as ever with debut shows from Kania and established lines like Rudsak and Soia & Kyo.

Special thanks to Roseline Bonheur for capturing Day 4 runway models!

All too quickly Day 5 of World MasterCard Fashion Week rolled around commencing with the Runway collection from Tatsuaki and closing out with Mikael D.

All in all even the daunting chill that comes with fall cannot dissuade us from anxiously waiting to start pulling out our fall wardrobes again….crazy huh!

What was your favourite moment from Toronto Fashion Week?
