Colour Me Summer

LT Edited IMG_0088

So, I need some “audience participation” right now. I need you to first relax those tense shoulders…roll your neck from side to side slowly 2 times…sit up straight, then take a deep breath and let it out slowly, gradually relaxing all your muscles; your back, your neck, your arms, legs……

Now, hold it there…see that feeling you’re feeling right now? That moment, though brief, that precise moment where you feel utterly, shamelessly, blissfully, relaxed? THAT is how I feel on a hot, sunny, summer’s day …and this dress is the cherry on top, adding an extra sashay to my hips, making my shoulders and arms feel more languid, and ever so slowly parting my lips into a wicked smile that makes me look like the cat that caught the cream!

LT Edited IMG_0352

This dress and I met the way people talk about two star-crossed lovers: across a crowded room. Ok ok, it was a store. But location notwithstanding, it was all that story tellers write about; love at first sight! And when we got together, oh baby, it was electric!

LT Edited IMG_0269

LT Edited IMG_0366

The chemistry was just right. Perfect print, beautiful colour combination, silhouette that shows off my curves and enough stretch for those ladies packing a little extra heat!;-)

LT Edited IMG_0057

Now for some of the small details that I love about this dress that can easily be overlooked. While it’s very form fitting, the darker print of the bottom portion allows us ladies to be more flexible with the type of undergarments we opt to wear (i.e. it keeps our “Victoria’s Secrets, secret!). Subtle panty lines are easily hidden (whoot-whoot for us ladies who aren’t always wearing our sexy panties LOL) and the split in the back. Oh thank you Jesus for those designers that recognized that while we want the pencil shape look, we still need to actually walk….like with real, grown women steps or climb stairs without difficulty (yeah, I once mistakenly got one of them tricksy skirts that was  just not allowing me to be great!lol ß and yeah, I did call it “tricksy”, no typo!LOL).

LT Edited IMG_0299

LT Edited IMG_0239

But really, I love the sheer simple line of this dress. The style and print offer so much visual interest, that one really doesn’t have to do much to it. It’s really that quintessential throw on and go type of piece.

LT Edited IMG_0218

Being that I like to be a little extra sometimes, I wanted to accessorize to the hilt, and the name of my accessory game was all gold urvything!LOL. I feel like a warrior princess, with my battle field being the concrete jungle of the 6ix!

With that, I’m ready for anything!

My favorite season is finally here and I can’t wait to bust out some of my cutest summery outfits. I tend to dress up most of the time for every occasion, ask anybody who knows me.  There are times where I just like to throw on a cute little summer dress and go on about my business.

JS Edited IMG_3038

One of my favorite outfits to wear during the summer are maxi dresses, they are easy to put on and can be very fashionable at the same time.  My latest find comes from H&M. I found this lovely maxi dress that has a great mix of blues, greens and whites in a cool pattern. The dress is stretchy, super comfortable and also is a great length. I’m not a big fan of maxi dresses that end above my ankles LOL.

There are also gold studs on the collar of the dress, which makes it even more of a stand-out winner. I like that it is elegant, and that the silhouette is very sliming.  Also, to prevent my thighs from rubbing together on a hot summer day, and to smooth out my lovely lady lumps, I wear shapewear underneath my dress which I purchased at The Bay.

JS Edited IMG_3024

I can’t say enough about how essential maxi dresses are to my summer wardrobe. I wear them to do my errands during the weekend, a little brunch with my girls, and I’m good to go. I put on my lipstick, shades, and my flat sandals and watch me slay all summer. Last but not least I’m happy to report that this dress is very generous in size, I got a large and it fits me perfectly. The dress is very long so I’m pretty sure my tall sisters can also enjoy this dress as well.

Whoot-whoot!!!! Summer is here and I could  not wait  to jump into my hot weather gear! When the temperature soars into the 30’s, I need to keep cool, and show off a little skin at the same time!

LT Edited IMG_2472

I happened across this little romper in H&M while running some very important errands one day (i.e. keeping up on what was in the shops:) If you know me, you know it was the fabu print that first caught my eye, and the style was just up my alley! Being a slim girl, I love rocking prints as they give the illusion of added volume. I also love to show off a little leg, to accentuate my height and show off those gams.

LT Edited IMG_2460

My mom used to always say that just about any colour combination goes in summer, and mama, I have to agree with you. I complimented the green and white print of my romper by rocking this funky blue and white necklace and a yellow skinny belt. I went for a neutral high heeled sandal to round out my look, and of course, when the sun rays are beaming, I always break out my trusty shades.

So let’s hit the terrace and bring on the Sangria because it’s a sunshiney day!!!

Another day, another opportunity to glam up with the squad!

I seem to really be gravitating towards florals this spring. While it is the “typical” spring thing, this is quite new for me…. And I’m loving it! This little number jumped on my screen as I was perusing the H&M website (side bar, did you hear that H&M will soon offer online shopping?!!??!! It took them long enough but I for one am VERY GLAD!)ND Edited IMG_8945

But the print wasn’t the only thing that attracted me to this little number. The fit! Oh the fit. It’s just perfect. The strategically placed seams allow this dress to hug you in all the right places. While it’s fitted it’s very comfortable and sucks you right in. This is really a thing of sewing magic.ND Edited IMG_8966

I decided to allow the dress to play center stage so I paired it with very minimal accessories. I had to break out the birdcage tho LOL. I added these purple pumps because, well, pop of color. You know how I do. LOL I was thinking about my Mom with this pairing because, as she would say, “it goes together”. Spring is upon us, and it’s time to bring out our lovely floral pattern skirts and dresses and enjoy the beautiful weather. One thing my girls and I enjoy during spring and summer, is going to high tea.

For a high tea event, I’m always torn between wearing a nice flowing dress, a fitted wiggle dress, or a nice skirt. This time my heart settled on this beautiful skirt that I stumble upon on Instagram when I was perusing through @iambeauticurve’s page. I clicked on the pic to get the deets of her outfit, and yeah baby I too was able to score this 2 piece yellow flower patterned skirt and crop top.

JS Edited IMG_9340

That same night I visited the Forever 21 store closest to my home. I must admit, I wasn’t too crazy about the complete coordinate set on me so I only went with the skirt. I was very impressed with the material and love the sheen it has to it.  It’s a great fit on me and I love the fact that it is high waisted and flares out.  Besides, yellow compliments my skin tone very well and I’m a sucker for a floral pattern.  A little confession: I was never a huge fan of floral patterns but once I found the right floral pattern I changed my mind.
JS Edited IMG_9349

For our high tea outing, I wore my new skirt with my off white high collar top which I also found at Forever 21 a few months ago.  To complete my look I wore my gold triangle earrings and my cream and gold pumps by Ivanka Trump.

Ok now I’m ready to go, I just hope they will have my favorite high tea delicacies, which are biscuits, jam and crème fraiche.

I so love going for a proper English afternoon tea! My sis and I started trying afternoon tea at various hotels many years ago when we were still living in Montreal, and the trend has continued ever since!

Of course, it goes without saying that an important part of these outings is the outfit. I love wearing fun , flirty, feminine pieces for these high tea activities; makes me feel like a proper English lady.

LT Edited IMG_9542

I am still in love with all looks mod inspired, so this dress appealed to my retro sensibilities. The cool print and soft sheen immediately caught my attention when I clapped eyes on it on the salesperson in the store; and the short length that shows of my gams to perfection, made for a real winner! I love this style of lose fitted dress as you never need worry about those dreaded panty lines and no need to loosen anything after a big meal;-) To me, the key to the success of this style of dress is to ensure the areas that are supposed to be fitted (i.e. the shoulders and bust), fit well. If they are too big, it will look more sack like (no one wants that!)

LT Edited IMG_9489

There’s no doubt that this dress was the star of my look, all I had to add was some nude pumps, a little sparkle at my ears and wrist and I was ready for my finger sandwiches, scones and clotted cream!

Moving up from the shoes is this gloriously feminine skirt.  I love its fullness and the high low situation as well.  The material is neoprene which helps give the skirt that puffy fullness I mentioned earlier.

The infamous phrase “You should dress for the job you want, not the job you have” is a rule I like to live by.  So even when I’m doing casual looks, I still try to dress it up a notch. I’m still feeling that vintage vibe so I wanted to rock a look that made me feel it from head to toe. So I went with a look that makes me feel like I’d fit right into a modern day episode of the Jefferson’s! The tie neck blouse is perfect for the office and can give off that sexy secretary look and works well with a ton of other pieces in my wardrobe.

Final LT Edited IMG_7488

Since these 5 a 7 always happened after work, we always had to pull out our cutest looks that meshed work and play. My look was all about colour and comfort. What I like to wear for a 5 a 7, is a nice dress that can transition well from the boardroom to a resto lounge after work. I tend to choose dresses that are comfortable and that don’t require too much work to make the leap into my after work adventures other than putting on a pair of pumps and freshening up my makeup.
JS Edited IMG_7723

I personally think that every woman should have these types of dresses in their wardrobe, because it is so cost effective when you consider that you can build 2 or 3 looks with one piece.  You can wear this dress as I did with a fashionable necklace, or layer it with a fitted blazer.
JS Edited IMG_7624

There’s nothing like getting together with friends after a hard day’s work.   As a former Montrealer, the Thursday 5 a 7 aka Happy Hour was the ideal day of the week and time frame to celebrate the fast approaching weekend while not being out too long since there is still one more day of work to knock out lol.

It’s ideal to have those pieces in your wardrobe that transition easily from day to night.  I just love having “double duty” clothing options in my closet.gt IMG_7832

For my brunch look I went with the so called “Canadian Tuxedo”. LOL  Denim on denim was a definite no no for me, but I broke that all up by adding this faux fur vest.

GT IMG_9691

These skinny jeans are the bomb.com.  Now I know finding great fitting jeans or pants, for that matter, can be a difficult task.  When looking for the best fitting jeans, I always try to fit the largest part of my body first.  Yes, often times that means that the waist is too big for me but I just traipse on over to my neighbourhood tailor to have them altered and I’m good to go.

Next came the shoes.  I went for my trusty wedge booties.  Last but not least was this blushed coloured purse by Rebecca Minkoff!  I love this purse because it can be worn cross body or as a regular shoulder bag.  Now my “Canadian Tuxedo” look is complete.  Yo, somebody get me a mimosa!

One thing I love is getting together with my girls for brunch! We talk, we laugh, and most importantly we eat.  For this post I will highlight what I wear for a typical casual brunch with the ladies. For this look I decided to wear a comfortable outfit that transitions well from brunching to running errands in the 6ix.

I chose to wear a nice blue, camel and black sweater that I scored at H&M which pairs beautifully with my camel “Olivia Pope” inspired coat.

JS IMG_0333

I wore my favorite pair of jeans which are my “Second Yoga Skin” jeans. These jeans are perfect for curvy girls like me as they fit like a glove and they do not cause the gaping at the back of the waist – hallelujah!

To complete my daytime look I jazzed it up with my grey ankle booties I got from BCBG a long time ago. The price was so good that I got the black ones as well. I don’t regret these two purchases at all cause ‘til this day I rock them and they still look like new!

Awww … the struggle of having big feet makes you appreciate it all the more when you find fantastic shoes, and when you have them you treat them like precious gems!

Brunching is one of those essential parts of life!! That’s when we leave our phones, social media and worries at the door and just focus on connecting. This time, we chose to check out a really laid back spot so I kept my look casual cute.

ND IMG_9839

Most weekends, you’ll catch me wearing jeans. They are comfy, fit for all kinds of occasions and are just a must have for my lifestyle. Because I wanted my look to have a little edge, I decided to go with these ripped jeans (which I distressed myself btw!).

ND IMG_9883

I paired my jeans with a high low sleeveless turtleneck and my trustly leather jacket to keep the chill at bay. Tall girl story about this jacket: it was a gift (from my now hubby) and I loved the jacket BUT the sleeves were too short… Shocking. So to fix that, we took it to a leather goods store and they were able to find leather that matched perfectly to lengthen my jacket! When I tell you that we have to be creative! Finally, because I don’t feel good until I have a pop of color, I finished my look with these hot pink pumps.

Now pass the mimosas… minus the OJ LOL

It’s our Anniversary

Grp Edited IMG_0581

Do you know what today is?  It’s our Anniversary – come on let’s sing Tony Toni Toné’s song together. Yes, it’s a celebration!  The ladies of Fab Four Fashion are celebrating their 1st year in the blogging world.  Time goes by so fast. It was just a year ago we were rookies trying to make our mark in the fashion world and most importantly spread our message of body positivity.

Grp Edited MG_0530

God, Hard work and dedication got us there and our intention is to continue giving you amazing weekly posts.

Well, today we’ve reached a significant milestone and we are certainly celebrating the best way we know how. Aside from popping champagne, we put together a nice post to show you our celebration outfits and we hope you enjoy it.

Thank you for your constant love and support.

Yours Truly,

Gail, Judy, Leslie, Nancy (a.k.a. The Fab Four)

Leslie’s Look

I cannot believe that we started this blog a year ago now (technically more than a year) and it has been a whirlwind of a ride! I’m so grateful that we’ve been able to share our message of body positivity with you and showcase some great designers, collections and pieces that work for all body-types. Thank you for following us and I hope you’ve enjoyed the ride as well!

LT Edited IMG_0392

Since it’s a celebration, we just had to paint the town red! And really, what’s a celebration without some hot looks to help us get into the partying mood! My look, is a little glam, a little girlie and a touch of fun. Since I have a slim silhouette, I always love wearing pieces that give me some extra curves. This tutu skirt does just that, lending to the girlie feel as well as enhancing my curves.

LT Edited IMG_0433

I just had to have a little bling, so this sequin top that I scooped up from Top Shop added just the right touch of sparkle. To this I threw on a leather quilted bomber jacket to add some contrast to the girlie, glitziness of the outfit and add a little edge.

LT Edited IMG_0397

Last, but certainly not least, was my finishing touch. These striped pumps from ASOS were the perfect accent to round out my look. And with that I’m ready to eat, drink and be merry….oh yea, and dance till I just can’t dance no more!;-)

A year has come an gone and it feels like just yesterday that Judy, Leslie, Nancy and I came together to create a place where every woman could feel represented.  It has been such a blessing to work alongside these amazing women!

GT Edited IMG_0105

This blog has meant the world to me.  It has given me the opportunity to really express myself in a way I’ve never been able to before.  I’ve always loved fashion.  I remember taping episodes of Fashion Television on the family vcr (I’m probably aging myself by mentioning this LOL) and watching them over and over again.  The issue always became how can I incorporate some of the awesome ready to wear looks and find them in my size!  When that became near impossible I just basically gave up and began making black pants and a top my uniform.  Happily, those days are long gone!

GT Edited IMG_0207

GT Edited IMG_0122

For this look I went with sexy, gothic and edgy all rolled into one.  As you probably know I’m a little gaga for faux fur so of course my blog anniversary look had to incorporate this material somehow.

Given that my look is all black I wanted to play with different textures and materials to make the look more interesting.  So I’m working a faux fur in the form of this 3/4 length jacket and faux leather in the form of this pencil skirt.

GT Edited IMG_0130

To complete my look I went with these eye popping yellow ankle strap pumps and this glorious studded Alexander Wang clutch which converts to a messenger style handbag.   I just love when my accessories can do double duty!  With that I’m off to celebrate good times!

Yes we made it! 1 year might not be a lot for some, but I truly cherish this milestone and couldn’t be more proud to be ¼ of this amazing quartet. So to celebrate our 1 year anniversary I decided to part ways with my usual dress attire and wear an all-white suit.

JS Edited IMG_0269

Let me talk to you about my white suit. I fell in love with it when I saw it on the Eloquii site.  As the avid sales searcher that I am, I bided my time and scored this fabulous suit on sale a few months ago.  The price went down so much around the holidays that I bought it in black as well! This falls in line with the notion that a lady always needs to have a nice suit in her clothing arsenal.

JS Edited IMG_0329

When I saw this suit I had a vision of wearing it with a little sexy black bralet or bustier to take it to the next level. I’m talking Solange epic all white cape wedding picture that would break the internet LOL. Well one is rarely disappointed with Eloquii and can more often than not, expect great quality. The cape fit me perfectly and I don’t have to worry about the sleeves of the blazer being too tight, which is often the case for me when I wear a blazer.

JS Edited IMG_0341

The pants are a good fit and I love that they are high waisted which is a plus when you want to pair it with a crop top. Speaking of crop tops, I chose to wear a sparkly black and silver number which I premiered on our New Year’s Eve post.  To complete my look I wore some black and silver earrings and black pumps and I was ready for the celebration!

This milestone is so amazing to me. We have put in a lot of effort to make this blog thrive and I’m happy to celebrate its “birth” with the women I love. Beyond what you see on this platform, our sisterhood has truly flourished through all our ups and downs. I am quite excited to see what the future holds for us.

ND Edited IMG_9972

And I cannot go on without acknowledging everyone that has supported us on this journey. Of course the firsts on my list of thank yous go out to my hubby and my baby girl! And of course there are all our families and friends and extended friends whom we have met through this platform! To all our readers, frequent and sporadic: thank you. Thank you for the likes and the comments and the reposts and for just being awesome!

ND Edited IMG_9898

So, before I get too emo, let’s get into this outfit shall we! This outfit is 100% me because it is rather simple but accessorized to the fullest! LOL The star is, without a doubt, the skirt. It’s made with a great scuba material which hugs my curves oh so well! It can be worn in so many ways and settings (yes, I will make this work for my business casual office environment!). I love the contrasting striped border – it’s all in the details.

ND Edited IMG_9882

Then, to dress up my look, I went with a slew of cool and bold accessories. First, we have this tasseled necklace. I wore it backward to add a little fun in the back (by now you know that I wear a bunch of things backwards LOL). Then we have this cuff, I love the leather straps because it adds just a hint of toughness to the look. We have this ring that I totally fell head over heels for and the belt, just to define my waist.

With this I was ready to toast with my girls to celebrate one year, wishing for many more!

Fashion Week 2016

GRP IMG_8927

Fashion week is here and once again the ladies of Fab Four Fashion are getting ready to strut their stuff at David Pecaut Square.  Picture it, 4 different beautiful women with 4 different unique styles, one can only imagine that fashion week 2016 would not be the same without Fab Four Fashion.  With that being said, we cordially invite you to feast your eyes on this elegant post that the Fab Four have cooked up for you!

What I love most about fashion week, other than attending the runway shows of course, is dressing up to express my creative vision. This year I went for sophisticated chic meets bold vibrant print. I wore this 50’s inspired green dress with a black elephant print. I scored this little number on sale on the eShakti website. The dress was half price plus they had an additional 40% off on top of that! As you already know from our previous post featuring eShakti, they specialize in customized pieces catering to every size and shape.JS IMG_9667

To add an extra layer of volume and edginess to my lovely dress I wore a black tutu underneath (stay tuned because I’ll be premiering this glorious black tutu in an upcoming post). The goal was to have the tutu peeking out beyond the hem to show off a bit of the black crinoline and make it seem like its part of the dress.

My outfit would not have been complete without a ¾ sleeve feather jacket to add a pinch of pizzazz and flare to my look.  To spice things up I wore my gold and black Ivanka trump pumps and a tiny gold belt to add more definition to my waist. Since my look is 50’s inspired, I added a sexy pair of long leather gloves ending at the elbow to further play on the retro theme.

JS IMG_9622

And finally, the piece that will make every head turn is this to die for clutch. Let me tell you about this breathtakingly beautiful piece of art which I discovered on Instagram.  It’s designed by Ka$hmir this lovely girl who decided to turn her creative juices to clutches, and several other pieces. I was so impressed with her work, I just had to order one of her clutches to show my support. All I can say is that I was impressed from the time I placed my ordered to the time I actually received my clutch. I will definitely be ordering more of her beautiful creations and besides, I am all about women supporting women.

JS IMG_9679

Let me go grab my clutch and voila, I’m ready to rip the runway in style!

Fashion week is always action packed but oh so much fun! I can’t wait to see the fashionable offerings of the other fashion lovers along with what our Canadian designers are cooking up for next fall/winter.

ND IMG_9160

Although Miranda Priestley might not approve, I decided to rock a floral shirt and pants combo. I loved the print and most importantly, it’s super comfortable! Almost like pyjamas (which would keep me on trend as seen on the Thakoon and Givenchy Spring 2016 runway! HA! lol).

ND IMG_9235

I also wanted to play on the colors and prints, so I paired my look with some of my sweetest sweet babies – ie my shoes from J. Crew. These fit like a glove and are so darn cute! I completed my look with some gold baubles.

Stay tuned for our action packed week on all our social media platforms!

Nothing is better than a good piece of leather, and these oh so sexy leather overalls I scooped up at H&M make my heart do an extra little pitter-pat! Fitted, funky and fresh is how I would describe this look and I will agree with my big sis (i.e. Gail’s) description of it having a ”Mad Max” vibe and I can dig it!

LT IMG_9780

Needless to say, the key piece in my look were these overalls. I paired them with an off-the-shoulder cashmere, loose fit sweater to give the look an effortlessness and my leopard print pumps to add a touch of print to this simple colour palette.

LT IMG_9834

So, with a quick spritz of my favourite perfume, and my fashion week pass in hand, I’m off to the shows to see what’s going to be hot for Fall/Winter 2016!

Ah another fashion week is upon us and I couldn’t be more excited to see what our talented Canadian designers have in store for us for Fall 2016.  Of course part of the fun and spectacle of fashion week is seeing the amazing streetstyle that will be on full display this week.  So, not to be out done here is my fashion week look.

GT IMG_9361

GT IMG_9563

I went for SPARKLE baby!  The star of this outfit are these sequin covered shorts.  When I spotted them in Forever 21 I just knew I had to have them!  These shorts are super comfortable and have just the right amount of stretch.

GT IMG_9408

Given that these shorts are “lead” in this outfit I kept the rest of my outfit rather quiet.  I donned a white cropped jacket and simple black tank top.  I brought the sparkle upwards with this long tassel necklace and some bling around my wrist.

GT IMG_9579

Last but not least is the handbag/clutch from Alexander Wang.  As the other ladies of Fab Four Fashion know, I’m  a handbag FANATIC!  What I love about this bag is the metal studs on the bottom giving that dash of edginess to my look.

With that, my fashion week look is complete!

Vanity Fair Part 2

GRP IMG_8660

Allow us to re-introduce ourselves, we have been here almost a year now, constantly giving you fabulous post after post. LOL Well, we know you missed us and we missed you too. It feels good to be posting again after a brief hiatus. Our only suggestion for you, our avid followers, is to stick with us because this year we have so much fun and interesting posts to share with you.

GRP IMG_8517

To start this fabulous blog year in style we give you Vanity Fair Part 2.  Enjoy!

Judy’s Look

JS IMG_8780

We are baaack from a much needed hiatus but I must say if feels good to be back. This year I’m focused on my evolving style.  I have so many ideas and I can’t wait to share them with all of you.  For my first look of the year I went with this bedazzling two tone sparkly sequin dress. I thought this dress would be perfect for a proper return to the blogging world.

JS IMG_8841

I scored this dress at a store that, until recently, I don’t really go to very often but since I found this gorgeous dress there I will be sure to browse the Reitman’s store and website more often now.  What I love the most about the dress is the 2 tone copper and silver colours. It’s a very short well fitting bodycon dress with very good stretch fabric.

JS IMG_8854

I love this dress so much I intended to get the full use out of it and I have a vision of adding feathers at the bottom to remix it and to add few extra inch to this fabulous dress.

JS IMG_8790

To complete my look I put on my feather jacket, my ankle booties and my Mom’s vintage clutch and I’m ready to slay.

Nancy’s Look

nd IMG_9144Don’t call it a come back! We’ve been here for… one year 🙂 For our first photo shoot post vacay, we decided to don our fav looks which make us feel like we can take over the world. And in doing so, I chose a LRD (that’s a little red dress) that is 100% me!

ND IMG_9005

ND IMG_9020First off, the colour is just divine. As a huge fan of bright colors, this dress had to be on the menu. Second, it’s backless! You already know how I feel about that… lol  I will repeat it for the sake of any new readers: I could spend the rest of my days in a backless anything. The subdued sexiness of an open back is just everything. And third, it shows off my gams! This dress makes me feel all kinds of amazing, which is just what I plan on being in 2016! Stay tuned for more!

ND IMG_9139

Leslie’s Look

LT IMG_9617

New year, new look! We couldn’t wait to get back into the action and share some sexy, sizzling looks with you all.

My look: bold and beautiful! This dress called out to me one day as I was perusing the web (a.k.a. on-line shopping). The pattern, fit and detailing were perfect for my style and shape.

LT IMG_9479

The pattern, coupled with the fit, showed off the curves I have and the scoop back was perfect to hide my bra, but still show off a little skin. I love the length of this dress as well, as it is long enough to make Mama happy, but short enough to let that cutie at a party know I got pretty nice gams!;-)

lt IMG_9622

All I needed to do to complete this look was add a little dangle in the form of these earrings from H&M and some nude shoes that keep the dress the focus of the look.

And just like that I’m ready for cocktails and caviar.

Gail’s Look (allow me to re-introduce myself lol)

As you all know, I’m all about the faux fur life so essentially I created my outfit around this fabulous fur stole!

GT IMG_9213

This nude faux suede front twist dress is the business.  I found it on the MissGuided site and knew I immediately had to have it for my come back look.  The ruching and vneckline does wonders for my curves and décolletage!

GT IMG_9274

GT IMG_9321

What I love about this particular retailer is that they cater to all sizes, regular, petite, tall and plus size!  Amen!

GT IMG_9228

To complete my look I added leopard print slingback kitten heels, and a little bling around my neck.  Oh and of course I’ve basically got the whole world dangly from my hand in the form of a “golden globe” clutch!  So, for 2016 and beyond I’m doing as Queen Bey commanded – I’m in FORMATION and ready to slay ALL DAY! LOL

Eloquii: In Black and White

js IMG_8198

js IMG_8128

I’m the type of girl who usually stays away from black and white outfits however when I find an outfit with the perfect black and white print, I have to jump on it!

js IMG_8411

And I sure did when this beautiful Eloquii dress caught my attention . The dress has the right mix of sexiness and class and it transitions from day  to night time easily. The dress is a form fitting and knee length with a black and white horizon striped pattern with an asymmetrical hem. I heard before that horizon stripes makes you look wider but I’m happy to report that it is not the case with this dress because it accentuates my curves beautifully!

js IMG_8136

I scored this dress a few weeks ago from Eloquii, the premier  online store for plus size and curvy women. I must say their sizing is pretty generous. I could have gone one size down and it would have still fit perfectly.

I highly recommend this dress.  The quality of the material and the construction are phenomenal and it has the right balance of stretch in it too.

js IMG_8445

To complete my winter look I wore black opaque stockings with ankle booties and you already know me, my lipstick is always an important part of my outfit. I will definitely wear this dress again over the winter and in the spring with some cute pumps.

js IMG_8176

With my new hairdo and my red lipstick I’m ready to SLAY in my Eloquii dress!
