Fall is here and we can’t escape it, therefore it’s time to start layering up! I love wearing a trench coat in the beginning of fall as it’s a great transition piece. For this fall look, I went for an outfitthat reminds me of Inspector Gadget LOL. If you don’t know who that is Google him, it’s a classic old school cartoon.
I wore one of my favorite work pants which are called Peg Trousers with Obi-tie from ASOS. I love these pants so much that I bought them in green as well, and plan to buy them in a few more colours. What I simply love about these pants is the high waist with the built-in belt. The look fits my curvy frame perfectly, by accentuating the smallest part of my body, and gives me enough room in the hip area. What’s also nice about these pants is that I can dress them down with cool flats, or dress them up with a nice pair of heels. These pants can take you from the boardroom environment to the bar at happy hour.
Finding well made, tailored shirts and blouses that fit properly has always been a struggle for me. However, I’ve managed to identifiy a few go-to stores that I can rely on to find a shirt that fits my chest area well, without the awkward situation of having my button pop while talking to co-workers. LOL Yep, true story, it happened to me. My go-to stores for dress shirts are Forever 21 Plus, ASOS and Eloquii.
To complete my look I donned a trench coat to combat those cool early fall breezes, and wore my Ivanka Trump pumps.
And just like that, I’m ready to tackle any situation, the only thing missing is my Inspector Gadget hat.

Tah tah for now,
OH MY GOSH – PURCHASE – those are the words I uttered when I laid eyes on this faux fur coat wonder! So, of course I immediately retrieved my credit card to make this coat mine. Ask any of the other ladies of Fab Four Fashion and they will tell you that I’m OBSESSED with faux fur right now. The different colours and styles they’ve been fashioned into has just had me salivating!
In this coat I imagine myself as Dominique Deveraux seen here in the 80s night time tv drama – Dynasty. I saunter about like a glama jama unicorn cause no one’s got anything on me, when I’m wearing this coat. Basically, what I’m saying is that I’m a BOSS! LOL
By now you’ve probably guessed that I built this outfit around the coat. LOL I paired the coat with this nude coloured dress. Its got great sparkle on the shoulders and a cute peplum at the waist. I also love that it hits me just a smidge above my knee and folks I didn’t have to pay a trip to the tailor to achieve that – and that my friends, almost never happens.
This dress would be ideal for an office Christmas party as its chic, polished with just the right amount of sparkle.
I rounded out my look with a gold clutch and pumps and silver bangles and dangly earrings. Oh and BTW, I have no problem mixing my metallics – it’s all good to me.

Its Friday, YAY and so another edition of Fab Four Faves is up. Gail is next giving us the inside scoop on what she has her eye on!
I was inspired by my fellow Fab Four friend, Nancy, in recreating her Totally Trenched out post seen here for us plus size perfect divas! Lets talk about colour! Centre stage is this gorgeous fire engine red coat (to be worn as a dress) that puts the “F” in fierce! To set off the coat I went with some serious bling in the form of this gold multi-layered necklace complete with feathers and of course sexy open toe leopard print sandals! Last but certainly not least is the rhinestone encrusted clutch (the other ladies of Fab Four know how much I love a great handbag!)! With this hot date look you would definitely steal your prospective beau’s heart!
